Vital-Plex® is a long-standing favorite of Klaire clinicians in situations where pathogens such as rotavirus invade and multiply in the bowel. It has been reformulated to include Bifidobacterium lactis blended with Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, and B. bifidum. B. lactis is an important colonizing microorganism that produces large amounts of anti-microbial formate. It has profound effects on the immune system enhancing white cell tumor cell-killing and phagocytic activities as well as increasing numbers of total, helper, and activated T cells. It has been shown to have activity against rotavirus, a significant cause of diarrhea in infants and young children. It has been found to reduce the incidence of diarrhea in child daycare centers. The probiotic species in Vital-Plex® synergistically produce butyrate, acetate, lactate, and formate, lowering the pH of intestinal contents and inhibiting the growth of bacterial, yeast, and viral pathogens. The Vital-Plex® probiotics produce B vitamins and enhance nutrient and mineral absorption. Together they stimulate gastrointestinal and systemic immune system function and provide support for people with diarrhea. This formulation is available in both a high-potency powder supplying 10+ billion CFUs per 1/4 teaspoon and a maintenance-dose capsule supplying 5+ billion CFUs.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement take 1/4 teaspoon daily with food or as directed by a physician.
